Brahmbucha was designed and formulated in 2015 in the Northern Rivers - the rich Byron Hinterland famous for health, healing, abundant wildlife, free spirits and surf culture.

Brahmbucha has been individually handcrafted to compliment the Byron spiritual lifestyle by following the ancient healing system of Ayurveda. It based upon the balance of the three elemental doshas: kapha, vata, pitta. An imbalance is the cause of disease.

One of its key ingredients is Brahmi. Brahmi or bacopia monnieri has been used by Ayurvedic medical practitioners of India for centuries to boost brain function. It is also known to reduce stress and anxiety and as a treatment for epilepsy and has been said to reduce blood pressure and inflammation.

Brahmbucha is born of the desire to create a natural potion for a brain and gut symbiosis.

Lord Brahma is God of Creation within the Trimurti, the trinity of supreme divinity that includes Vishnu and Shiva. He is associated with creation, knowledge, and the Vedas. He wears a Brahmin thread.

Sunaina, the creator of Brahmbucha, is an initiated brahmin practitioner who leans towards dharmic principles for life. Aspiring for the four regulative principles is known to accelerate ones spiritual growth and for the cultivation of self-realisation.

The four principles of dharma are the pillars of support for human life. These include duties, rights, laws, conduct, virtues and "right way of living".

Sunaina not only appreciates these principles but applies them to ensure these qualities are felt on a subtle level in the brewing process to ensure that the highest of standards of cleanliness and consciousness are applied to nourish and support spiritual growth.

Brahmbucha is also brewed in alignment with the Brahma muhurta time of sunrise when the Sushumna Nadi flows readily.

Rishis, yogis and scriptures speak very highly of sunrise and dusk as the two opportune moments because to enter into deep meditation and Samadhi without much effort when Sushumna Nadi flows. Brahmbucha brewed in this time increases it's satvic good qualities.

Brahmbucha is satvic, meaning it is made in the mode of goodness.

Dharmic Principles for Human Life

The word ‘dharma’ means duty. In the Śrimad Bhāgavatam, dharma is described as a ‘bull’ who stands on four
‘legs’—austerity, cleanliness, truthfulness, and kindness. These principles are common to all aspects of human life,
and not just associated with a ‘religion’. In the Vedic context ‘religion’ means to do one’s duties associated with
one’s role. Roles are many and simultaneous. Duties associated with the highest role are in relation to God and
called ‘religion’. Other duties include one’s social duties such as ‘father’, ‘employee’, ‘student’, etc. The four legs of
dutifulness are associated with both the relative and higher duties.
